HeadlinesOpinionPorts Management Kudos: Who needs CRFFN when NAGAFF is there? By maritimemag May 30, 2021 ShareTweet 0 Why CRFFN has failed to deliver on its mandate The National Association of Governmemt Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) during the week graduated some students from its freight forwarding training academy. Thank God the association has taken the initiative to develop its members if the government agency saddled with the responsibility to carry out its statutory roles has failed to do so as much as to the public knowledge. The Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria (CRFFN) has in a long time not carried out any training for its members except for some few selected, influential members. Out of every ten freight forwarder, seven will tell you they are not aware of any training by the Council. Though not much is expected from the agency that it’s attention is glued to revenue and not development of trade, a little can only be expected from it. The focus here is the role NAGAFF has been playing by training its members and even members of other associations. The group no doubt, has written its name in gold for this laudable feat that will remain etched in the memory of beneficiaries for ever. Who needs CRFFN when NAGAFF is there? © 2021, maritimemag.
