Headlines NIMASA DG reshuffles Directors By maritimemag May 4, 2024 ShareTweet 0 By Abiodun OBA The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) Director General, Dr Dayo Mobereola has carried out a minor reshuffle of Directors, Assistant Directors and heads of departments in the Agency. Those affected in the new management reshuffle includes; Mr Isichie Osamgbi who has been moved from Director of Special Duties to Director of Human Resources, while the Head of Public Relations, Edward Osagie, an Assistant Director, retained his office. Kabiru Murnai is now Director of Carbotage, while Olubusola Obasanjo Akande has now been made Director of Maritime Labour Services. Mrs Olamide Odusanya is Director of Finance, Engr. Christopher Amakulo is also Director, while Mr. Otonye Obom is Director of procurement. A reliable source in the agency confirmed to our correspondent that prior to the shakeup, not all of the Directors were given portfolios by the former Director General, Bashir Jamoh. However, the new Director General, Dr Dayo Mobereola has set the records straight by giving portfolios to the Directors.
