Adeyanju disclosed this in a statement on Monday , in commemoration of the World International Women’s Day celebration. He pleaded that for their enviable purposeful contributions to nation building, labour leaders should ensure that they are duly represented in their respective union activities and administration. Adeyanju said “I on behalf of Maritime workers Union of Nigeria felicitate and stand in solidarity with all our women as they observe world international women day. Indeed strong women make stronger unions. “We recognize the substance of women participation and voice in the world and society and we join in celebrating you all.
