CoverHeadlinesKudos & KnocksKudos or Knocks KNOCKS: Some Terminal Donors Leave Homefront unattended to By maritimemag April 25, 2020 ShareTweet 0 It is good to synergise with government or organisation in the fight against any life-threatening pandemic as we have on coronavirus that has taken several hundreds of thousands of lives across the globe. It is a good corporate responsibility that should be encouraged world over. But where it becomes a show off or propaganda, the purpose is defeated. The recent donations made by some terminal operators in Nigeria to government to rid covid 19 is not with genuine intention because the wellbeing of their staff is not paramount to them. It is unfathomable that some terminals do not have good toilets for their staff. In some, they have toilets but no water. This is hazardous and life threatening. Therefore, any terminal that can subject its staff to such treatment and has donated millions to government to fight coronavirus is just doing that to seek favour of the government. These terminals are mostly in Tincan. If necessary, adjustments are not made, knocks will not mind to expose such terminals. © 2020, maritimemag. All rights reserved.
