[ KNOCKS ] NPA: The need to beef up security at Ports

In this era of insecurity pervading the world, more should be done by the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) and the necessary agencies to beef up security at the ports’ entry points

It has become a source of worry as many people gain access into the Lagos ports without proper identification or sometimes, easy access after palms are greased.

Again, the inadequate security at the ports should be a source of concerns to any well meaning Nigerian.

How on earth would only four men take up the security responsibility of an entire port housing about four terminals?

The Acting Managing Director, Bello Koko should look into the case of understaffing by NPA , especially in the area of security.

In as much as one does not want to sound like a prophet of doom, caution should be applied to avoid being caught unaware by the perpetrators of the evil machinations.
