Traffic gridlock ends as Kara Bridge opens today

The Berger/Kara Bridge section of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, will be opened to motorists today, 1st March, Federal Controller of Works, Lagos, Mr Adedamola Kuti said on Saturday.

Kuti said that construction work had been completed on that portion of the road, a big relief to users of the road, who have experienced agonising traffic gridlock for months.

He also has more good news users of the expressway.

According to him, the Magboro-Punch axis would be opened on March 7 while the construction zone around Mowe would be opened in April.

Kuti also said that Old Toll Gate to Sagamu Interchange would be completed by the end of April.
