HeadlinesKudos & KnocksKudos or Knocks The lame duck of Shippers Council under Jime By maritimemag November 14, 2021 ShareTweet 0 Many new negative developments are beginning to rear their ugly heads in the Nigerian Maritime space due to inability of the Nigerian Shippers’ Council to effectively tackle issues under its jurisdiction. There has been several meetings lately over unnecessary withholding container refund deposits paid by Shippers’ to shipping companies. The last one called ‘Executive Meeting at the instance of the Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria (CRFFN), ended without anything to take home Everyone returned home to face their usual troubles.
