Kudos or Knocks The Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) Transition Ceremony By maritimemag April 16, 2018 ShareTweet 0 Knocks The Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) transited from one dispensation to another on Friday, albeit peacefully. Prince Olayiwola Shittu relinquished power to Tony Iju Nwabunike amidst pumps and glitz. The occasion was attended by hefty men and women in the maritime industry including representatives from government agencies. However, as good as the event looked; ‘agents’ as they are called will never cease to amaze the world. Well dressed, rich but when it was time for food, the organism in them raised its ugly head, etiquette was lost. Imagine how fathers were scampering for food without caution. Haba! Adopt some decency next time, great agents. Kudos 2,000 gbosas for the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) for the recent promotion of junior officers. Even though it is belated, it is a good initiative that will spur the officers and men of the service to put more efforts into their job. Some of the junior officers concerned could not conceal their joy as they poured encomium on the management of the service. This effort should be sustained so that others can also benefit from the largesse. However, nigeriamaritime360 wants the distribution of the promotion to be equitable and not selective to favour some over others. Attention!!! Salute! Remove headdress for the CG and management team. © 2018, maritimemag. All rights reserved.
