The Group Executive Vice President of SIFAX, Dr. Taiwo Afolabi made the call when he visited the Director General of the apex maritime regulatory agency, Dr. Bashir Jamoh on Friday. This is contained in a statement made available to nigeriamaritime360 by Philips Olawunmi Ojo, Officer, Corporate Communication unit of SIFAX. The statement explained that Dr. Afolabi gave insight into some of the recent investments made by the group in the maritime and upcoming business project meant to boost the sector. Full text of the release, “Dr. Taiwo Afolabi, Group Executive Vice Chairman, SIFAX Group, paid a courtesy visit to Bashir Jamoh, Director General, Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency recently. “The aim of the visit was to explore opportunities for a better working relationship between SIFAX Group and NIMASA. “At the meeting, Dr. Taiwo Afolabi, GEVC, SIFAX Group used the opportunity to inform the NIMASA DG of the Group’s investments in the maritime sector and other upcoming business projects meant to boost the maritime sector too. “The NIMASA DG on his part assured that the agency will support the Group in making sure that all its outlined projects are successfully executed.” © 2021, maritimemag.
