Ogun in transformation masterplan process, Creates Transportation Ministry

The governor of Ogun state, Prince Dapo Abiodun has created the ministry of transportation to solve transportation challenges in the state.

The Commissioner for Transportation, Engr. Gbenga Dairo, said the state is in a development process of transformation masterplan.

Dairo stated this while inspecting the Lagos Garage, one of the public motorparks in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State

The Government, according to the Commissioner is working on making mobility easier for all, particularly, public transportation, through the provision of motorable roads.

Also speaking, Chairman, Transition Committee, Ijebu Ode Local Government, Ogun State Engr. Olugbenga Olugbile, who accompanied the former, commended Governor Abiodun for the lofty Initiative in creating the Ministry of Transportation in the state.

Engr. Olugbile was full of praise for the Governor, for putting a round peg in a round hole, at the helm of affairs in the newly-created Ministry.

“I am very optimistic that the transportation sector in Ogun State will be reorganised, and that our local governments stand a better opportunity of having their infrastructures more developed, particularly, the road networks,” Olugbile said.
