He took up the mantle on Monday after five months of his appointment. He resumed as the Director General at its headquarters at the Murtala Muhammed Airport (MMA), Lagos, which is a regulatory body for the aviation sector. In a statement signed by the agency’s General Manager, Public Affairs, NCAA, Mr. Sam Adurogboye, during the brief handover ceremony, NCAA was managed by Captain Sidi Abdullahi in acting capacity since October 2019 when the announcement was made. The statement noted further, that, President Muhammed Buhari had on October 23, 2019 forwarded the name of Nuhu to the Senate for confirmation as the Director-General of NCAA, but the Senate only confirmed him as the substantive Director-General on February 18, 2020. Meanwhile, Abdullahi charged staff to give maximum support to the new DG towards taking the agency to greater heights. In his acceptance speech, Musa applauded the Federal Government for the confidence reposed in him and vowed to work with the staff in realising the organisation’s mandate. He sought for fresh ideas and suggestions from staff geared at making things work seamlessly.
