Headlines NIMASA to Review Salary of Nigerian Dockworkers By maritimemag May 1, 2024 ShareTweet 0 By Abiodun OBA The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) has taken steps to review Dockworkers Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for the year 2023/2024. This is as NIMASA’s Director General, Dr. Dayo Mobereola constituted an NJIC committee to start the review. The President -General of the Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN) under the leadership of Comrade Adewale Adeyanju who was present in the meeting thanked the NIMASA DG, Dr. Dayo Mobereola for the gesture. The NJIC committee on the Dockworkers Branch of the Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN) is expected to do a thorough work on the new CBA. The DG was ably represented by the Executive Director on Maritime Labour and Cabotage Service, Mr. Jibril Abba at the meeting held on Monday, 29th April 2024 at NIMASA Corporate Headquarters in Victoria Island, Lagos. © 2024, maritimemag.
