NIMASA set to trains 250 Cadets abroad

The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) has decided to train 250 cadets for seatime in in the United Kingdom, Philippines ans Romania.

In a tweet by the Director-General of NIMASA, Dr Bashir Jamoh on his twitter handle, said the training was in line with the agency’s mandate of developing capacity in the industry.

NIMASA has said that the training is in keeping with one of the three performance pillars of the Director General, Dr Bashir Jamoh, known as Shipping Development.

The tweet reads, “#250CadetsTraining. In line with our mandate of developing capacity for the maritime industry, we’ve concluded plans to train 250 cadets for sea-time & CoC in the Philipines, UK & Romania.

“This is in keeping with one of our three performance pillars known as Shipping Development,” the tweet reads
