AviationHeadlines NDLEA intercepts Illicit drugs concealed in local black soap By maritimemag June 12, 2023 ShareTweet 0 By Abiodun OBA Officers of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency(NDLEA) have busted drug traffickers who attempted to ship to the United Kingdom illicit drugs concealed in tablets of black soap. Spokesman of the agency, Femi Babafemi revealed the interception in a Facebook post Sunday. He did not indicate the nature of the drug. He said the concealed drugs were seized at the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Lagos. Posting a video and photographs of the seized drugs, Babafemi wrote: “These are not Maggi cubes or soap tablets but illicit drugs concealed in native black soap heading to the United Kingdom. “They were discovered and seized by @ndlea_nigeria officers at the Lagos airport.
