It added that the new executives must strive to see that the association achieves better strides that it presently has attained to make it distinct from other groups in the Maritime industry. The National Publicity Secretary of the association, Stanley Ezenga who spoke with our correspondent on phone said the entire executive should not give their 100 percent focus to their businesses alone but to find time to make sure that the group is given needed attention to grow. He said this shortly after the bye- election of the Tincan Chapter of the Association. He maintained that the two officers being replaced have relocated out of Nigeria, hence the need to replace them with new persons. He noted that “I’m happy to inform you that the Tincan Chapter bye-election for the office of the vice Chairman and Treasurer has been concluded. It will be recalled that these offices became vacant following the relocation of their holders to greener pastures. Fwdr. Pastor Kenneth Okoro Obi was elected as Vice Chairman to replace Fwdr. Ken Iyoha while Alhaji Mustapha Aboki was elected as the Treasurer to replace Fwdr. Okwudili Onwudinjo. Ezenga stated further that NAGAFF is a group of professionals with people of credibility and substance hence, will not take anything for granted. © 2019, maritimemag. All rights reserved.
