Viking Sky was drifting towards land and had sent out a mayday signal. MV Viking Sky is a cruise ship operated by Viking Ocean Cruises. Viking Sky is the sister to three ships, Viking Star Viking Sea and Viking Sun, and was delivered on January 26, 2017. The ship was planned to set sail in 2016 as Viking Sea , but delayed until 2017.
