Thirteen ships carrying various products are at Apapa and Tin-Can Island Ports waiting to berth, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said on Tuesday. Of the vessels, seven were carrying petroleum products, while the remaining six had containers and bulk fertiliser. It also said that 33 other ships carrying various items were expected at the ports between Oct. 9 and Oct. 27. The ports authority listed the items as buckwheat, frozen fish, bulk sugar, containers, general cargo, diplomatic call, bulk gypsum, bulk gas and petroleum products. It further said that 13 other ships were waiting to berth at Calabar Port with imballast, petrol, ring, butane and general cargo.
