Out of the 11 ships, eight ships are carrying petrol, one ship each carrying diesel, aviation fuel, and containers with different goods. The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), however, in its daily bulletin, “Shipping Position”, monitored by nigeriamaritime360.com indicated that a total of 29 ships are expected to sail into Nigeria between June 20 and July 23. Five of the expected 29 ships will sail in with petrol. According to NPA, the remaining 24 ships are carrying base oil, frozen fish, steel, soya beans, empty containers, general cargo, bulk gas, base oil, buckwheat and general cargo. © 2018, maritimemag.
