Lagos-bound United Nigeria aircraft makes air return for technical hitches

A United Nigeria Airline flight U50505 from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport (NAIA), Abuja to the Murtala Muhammed Airport (MMA), Lagos on Tuesday morning made an air return after the pilot noticed a technical issue.

A statement by Achilleus-Chud Uchegbu, Head, Corporate Communications, United Nigeria Airlines, said that the aircraft with passengers onboard safely returned to base and was on the ground at Abuja airport as at the time of filing this report.

“All passengers were safely disembarked. The technical issue is now being fixed to enable aircraft return to service,” the statement added.
