The rumour that pervades the maritime community in the outgoing week is one that uncovers a lot The sack of the Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dr. Dakuku Peterside was reportedly greeted with jubilation even in the agency. Meanwhile, before the break of the rumour, he was the best boss to every staff of the agency at least in the public. Many hidden information concerning some of the deals in the agency began to make their ways into the public domain. Why now? Somebody asked. Anyway, the man too was said not to be friendly with the staff and living his Chief Executive life in the world of his own.
