HeadlinesKudos & KnocksKudos or KnocksPorts Management KUDOS: Garlands for MWUN officials for exemplary leadership By maritimemag May 3, 2020 ShareTweet 0 The leadership of the Nigerian Maritime Workers’ Union (NMWU), deserves an applause for its efforts at coordinating members of the union in the port as the novel COVID-19 pandemic rages on. The union top echelon visits the port everyday to ascertain that members are well taken care of and that they are well protected against the virus. The union’s leadership led by Comrade Adewale Adeyanju took it upon itself to sensitise members and encourage them to put in their best. With the sensitization and encouragement, members’ morale was boosted and efficiency achieved. This act calls for commendation because some other leaders would have withdrawn into their shells with the pandemic in town but MWUN showed the spirit of camaraderie.
