CoverKudos & Knocks Kudos and Knocks: Good riddance to bad rubbish By maritimemag July 21, 2019 ShareTweet 0 Last week, nigeriamaritime360.com knocked the Council of Maritime Truck Unions and Associations (COMTUA) for collecting tolls at the ports from truck drivers in the name of managing traffic. Kudos to the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) for taking a proactive step by chasing the union from port roads saying their activities cause delay in cargo clearance from the ports as well as increase costs. These are the kind of positive policies that stakeholders delight in especially ridding the port of tendencies that can hinder trade facilitation. This medium thumbs the management of Lagos Port Complex for daring the devil and standing up against illegalities. © 2019, maritimemag. All rights reserved.
