CoverKudos or KnocksNews Knocks: NPA Engineering Department or Poultry House? By maritimemag August 17, 2019 ShareTweet 0 Sometimes, one wonders why government agencies deliberately neglect some of their key functions. The Engineering Department of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) at Tincan Island Port can best be likened to an abandoned poultry. The buildings do not in any way look like a facility belonging to NPA as it is overgrown by weeds and the buildings do not look like what house human beings. No wonder when nigeriamaritime360.com visited the place, the staff of the supposed engineering building were seen sitting outside under trees during working hours. In fact, no bolt or nut or any engineering equipment to show that any work is being done in that building with green gate. Why will an agency of NPA status look away while its infrastructure is rotting away? © 2019, maritimemag. All rights reserved.
