Knocks for 3rd Maritime Stakeholders interactive Forum: Annual ritual without substance.

For the third year in a row, maritime stakeholders were again gathered at Eko Hotel for brainstorming on the way forward in the maritime industry.

nigeriamaritime360 is curious to know if the Federal government implemented the various recommendations and suggestions made at the previous editions to have warranted this latest one.

This edition, like the previous ones, and others like them, are mere jamboree and waste of scarce government resources

Anyway, someone even said at the event even though behind the scene that the gathering was organised to mop up the remaining fund in the budget since the year is winding up.

Of a truth, germane issues were raised at the event like it always is but none will see the light of the day in application.
