Kudos or Knocks KNOCKS: ANCLA versus NAGAFF By maritimemag May 20, 2018 ShareTweet 0 The age long rivalry between the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) and National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) is one too petty. The two giant associations in the freight forwarding subsector of the Maritime industry have engaged in fight for supremacy. The unhealthy rivalry has disabled the supposed regulatory body, Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria (CRFFN), making it impossible for the agency birthed by the rival associations to stand on both feet. Nigeriamaritime360.com thumbs down the withdrawal and coming back of the groups at the slightest provocation that has in the recent past necessitated postponement of the council election. As it stands, it is not sure if the election slated to hold in June will actually hold because any of the groups could come up with any excuse to withdraw from the exercise. Industry watchers say the two groups rely on the numerical strength of their membership, that is why they are able hold the Council to ransom © 2018, maritimemag. All rights reserved.
