Amadi, an executive of ANLCA, Onne in Port Harcourt, was kidnapped on Saturday, 19th May 2018 near his residence. According to a statement by the National Publicity Secretary (NPS), Joe Sanni, efforts are in top gear to seek the release of the kidnapped chieftain. Sanni said, “An executive member of Onne Chapter – Sir Adindu Amadi was kidnapped on the 19th of May 2018 near his residence. “Efforts are afoot by relevant authorities to secure his release and get him back to his family and the big ANLCA family. ANLCA is all in prayers for his return, hale and hearty.” The association similarly lost one of its most vibrant member Prince Kayode Oyinlola, to the cold hand of death on Monday, throwing the entire ANLCA confraternity into mourning. © 2018, maritimemag.
