VIDEO: Graduate cadets are protesting lack of sea time training by NIMASA

Graduates cadets of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agencys trained under the Nigerian Seafarers Development Programme, yesterday blocked the entrance of the agencys head office at Apapa protesting lack of sea time training for the cadets.

Recall that NIMASA had trained over two thousand five hundred cadets in the past five years in foreign countries but have since not been given the requisite training that will qualify them for Certificate of Competency {COC} with which they can work on board vessels.
