In Minna, Niger State, three people were feared dead and hundreds displaced as flood wreaked havoc and washed away several houses. In Mgamdu village in Kaja Local Government Area of Borno State, about five hundred households are displaced and in a nearby primary school. The Governor of the state, professor Babagana visited the affected community and promised to proffer a lasting solution after the raining season. In some areas such as Tudun wada, Kigo and so on, in Kaduna, the state capital, many residents now live in fear that flood is imminent, as this a regular occurrence and this may repeat itself this year.
