Rotimi Amaechi on Wednesday announced in Abuja that the Federal Executive Council (FEC) approved the sum of N17.4 billion for the acquisition of new headquarters for the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA). The new property, located in Victoria Island, Lagos, is a sixteen storey building with consisting of the latest technology fittings, a helipad and parking space for over 100 cars. “The Council approved the purchase of Kanti Towers located at 35, Adetokunbo Ademola Street,Victoria Island,Lagos for the new headquarters of Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA). “The purchase is in the sum of N17,471,005,130.54,” the minister said.
