The oil and gas sector regulator disclosed this at weekend, adding they should desist from other sharp practices as well. The Operations Controller, DPR, Warri Zonal Office, Mr. Antai Asuquo in his address at the 2020 Annual General Meeting of the agency, Warri Zonal Office, Ugboroke Community of Warri, said that ‘black market’ gas distribution is a serious danger to the gas sector. He also noted that, all trucks involved in the illegal transactions would be impounded while the owner firms would take full responsibilities of their drivers. Asuquo explained that ‘black market’ was discouraging operators of the LPG business. He further pointed out that the Federal Government had restated its commitment by providing resources to grow and expand gas utilisation in Nigeria. © 2021, maritimemag. All rights reserved.
