NewsTransport CRFFN Board Member Drags Staff to Court for Stealing N1 Million By maritimemag March 17, 2019 ShareTweet 0 By ZION Olalekan A board member of the Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria (CRFFN) Princess Chi Ezeh has dragged one of her staff, Chukwu Future Favour before an Apapa Magistrates’ Court for allegedly stealing her N1 million. Princess Ezeh is a member of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) who joined the CRFFN last year alongside five of her colleagues from the association. The police on Wednesday arraigned 18-year-old, Chukwu Future Favour before the court in Apapa. Favour is facing a two-count charge of conspiracy and stealing. The prosecutor, Sergeant Iyobosa Onaiwu told the court that the defendant committed the offences on March 7, 2019 at Warehouse Road, Apapa. “The defendant conspired together with others at large to steal N1 million property of one Princess Chi Ezeh,” Onaiwu said. According to her, the offences are punishable under sections 411 and 287 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State of Nigeria 2015. The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against him. Magistrate O.S Abioye granted the defendant bail in the sum of N200,000 with two responsible sureties in like sum. One of the sureties, according to the Magistrate, must be a parent of the defendant.
