Towards ease of doing business in the ports especially now that Covid-19 pandemic is ravaging the economy globally, the TICT Port Terminal has relaunched its IES portal.

The statement obtained from TICT website on Friday noted that amidst the continuing worldwide spread of the Covid-19  with Nigeria being no exception, “we have put in place several contingency measures to ensure that TICT Port Terminal remains fully functional in line with the federal directive that declares Ports as essential services to the Nation”.

The statement explained further that health of the organisation’s team, customers and business partners remains paramount to them adding that, digital solution is the core to social distancing.

They maintained that the portal will also play a key role in reducing the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We are pleased to announce today the launch of the IES portal on our website

“Our on-line platform is NOW open to our importers and/or their clearing agents for registration of their companies, with the following services being initially offered from the comfort & security of their offices/homes on a 24/365 basis,” the statement said.

However, services obtainable in the portal include; tracking of Containers, generation of proforma invoice, generation of invoices, and revalidation/extension of terminal delivery orders (TDO) respectively.

Furthermore, the terminal operator said the portal is an important milestone towards advancing its service delivery to its mutual customers.

“We will keep you abreast on further developments on our on-line platform, the objective of which is to offer increasing flexibility and the ease of doing business remotely with TICT.

“Our customer Service team ( will be available at all times to assist with any enquiry or support that you may require,” TICT management said.
