The Chairman, Presidential Task Force (PTF) on Covid-19, Mr. Boss Mustapha, announced this on Monday, saying that government is already discussing with aviation and health agencies, World Health Organisation (WHO) over calls on imposing restriction on international flights. He explained that government has even finalised arrangements with the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) in a bid to sanction any international travelers who flouts public health protocols in terms of post arrival test. “About 64,405 of the 163,818 inbound travellers captured on portal number failed to show up for post arrival test. “Recall that federal and State governments have mandated civil servants below level 14 to work from home as a result of Covid-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, the Nigerian Navy will soon take delivery of two additional patrol vessels from French shipbuilder, Ocea by the end of 2020. The security agency disclosed the future NNS Aba is a 35-metre fast patrol boat while the second one, P271 is a smaller interceptor craft. The Navy noted that the patrol vessels have been loaded on a cargo ship and are expected in Lagos in few days.
