Customs & ExciseHeadlines Comptroller Mohammed rallies security agencies against smuggling By maritimemag April 2, 2020 ShareTweet 0 Tayo Oladipupo As part of efforts at halting smuggling in the area, the Area Controller of Bauchi/Gombe, Comptroller Bello Mohammed has sought for collaboration with other sister agencies to fight smuggling in the axis. Towards this end, the Controller visited some relevant federal government agencies security agencies in the state. In a release made available to our correspondent on Tuesday, some of the security agencies visited by the Comptroller Mohammed and his entourage include; 33 Artillery Brigade Bauchi, Nigerian Army Armoured Corps and Nigeria security and Civil Defence Corps Bauchi. “Comptroller Jibo solicited for more collaboration and cooperation in order to sustain the already established cordial relationship. “He was full of praises to the military command in view of the two interceptions of un-customs goods handed over to his command within a month of his resumption. “The various heads were elated for the visit and ensured that more will be done to smoothen the relationship while praying for a productive and prosperous stay in their assignment,” the release stated.
