This development led some of the passengers at the Akure Airport on Sunday, December 5, to make a strong statement demanding for the Manager of Air Peace in Akure Airport to explain on why a flight to Lagos should be cancelled without prior notice. According to our correspondent who witnessed the development, the passengers who were disappointed, complained that such flight’s cancellations and rescheduling has become an issue with the airline. J One of the passengers, who craved anonymity said, she arrived the Akure airport past 12pm for 4pm flight toíok Lagos only to receive a message that it was rescheduled for 6pm. 0 “I and other passengers waited and saw the attitude of the airline staff members who could not address us or communicate to us on the flight cancellation. This attitude is unbecoming of a global airline”,she said. Another passenger expressed his displeasure and noted that his trip from Lagos to Akure was also rescheduled and he had to board another airline to allow him get to Ondo town in time for the Ekimogun Day. Demanding for a refund, he noted that his confidence in the airline was in doubt as the airline rescheduled trips at will. However, the management of Air Peace in a text message to the stranded passengers, apologized for the cancellation of the Lagos bound flight.
