Arraigned on June 5, 2018 on a one-count charge bothering on attempt to steal, Mohammed pleaded guilty. The port prosecutor, Sergeant Adeniyi Balogun gave the fact of the case that the accused committed the offence on May 30, 2018 at about 2:30am at First Gate, RORO Port, Tin-Can Island, Apapa. “The accused attempted to steal motor parts in Alhaji Yaro Park property of Alhaji Yaro,” Balogun said. According to him, the offence is punishable under section 21 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State 2015.
