Dr. Aniebonam in his presentation said that education is the best thing that could happen to anybody even as he stated that most of them couldn’t afford the fees but were eager to learn hence the scholarship awards. While congratulating the students, he noted that many of them were struggling to pay the N50,000-school fee per semester but had to come to their aid for two semesters. Aniebonam also urged the management of the school to endeavour that efforts put in the course of their studies won’t be in vain. He admonished the Rector, Mr. Francis Omotosho as well as the Chairman, Board of Trustee, Mr. Simeon Nwonu as well as all the management staff to ensure that the school awards certificates recognised by the Nigeria University Commission (NUC) promptly. “For a long time, some people said we were being redeemed and we wasted a lot of money and time but we were never redeemed, so I want to make sure that these efforts put in by these students are not wasted”. He vowed to help in their logistic support when the need arises. © 2019, maritimemag. All rights reserved.
