Embattled former attorney-general of the federation and minister of justice, Mohammed Bello Adoke has departed Dubai en route Nigeria. Adoke is expected to arrive Abuja at about 3:40 pm after he was arrested and detained by Interpol on the 11th of November in Dubai. His arrest followed an Interpol red alert which the Nigerian government had issued against him as part of the ongoing litigation over alleged $1.2billion fraud associated with the Malabu Oil deal. According to a report, the ex-AGF left Dubai following pressure from EFCC. He is being accompanied by INTERPOL officers on Emirates Airlines Flight 785.
